Background and Experience
Ryan joined ICO Commercial as Director of National Business Development in January of 2024 after working for Swearingen Realty Group for more than 12 years where he started his career in real estate. His commercial real estate career began in 2012 as a buyer/tenant representative and since that time he has focused on national clients. During that time he has closed hundreds of transactions nationwide and helped his clients manage their growth from 20+ locations to over 250 locations.

Current Strategic Initiatives
Ryan excels in developing strategic plans that optimize the utilization and efficiency of his client’s properties across diverse product type portfolios. By leveraging his in-depth knowledge of market trends, property valuations, and lease negotiations, he assists clients in making informed strategic decisions that align with their business goals and objectives. Being able to pair this knowledge with his co-broker relationships in markets nationally across the U.S. allows him to implement a company wide strategy across all of a client’s locations.

Throughout his career, Ryan has successfully facilitated hundreds of transactions, including both office and industrial leasing and dispositions. His proactive approach to client representation ensures that every aspect of the real estate process is meticulously managed, from site selection and due diligence to lease structuring and ongoing portfolio management.

As a trusted advisor, Ryan understands the importance of forging long-term relationships built on trust, integrity, and results. With his expertise and client-focused approach, Ryan continues to be a go-to resource for companies seeking expert guidance in navigating the complexities of managing their national portfolio of real estate, whether leased or owned.

Ryan was born and raised in the Dallas area. He grew up in a large, blended family and has siblings and family all over Texas. He spent several years working in the service industry at everything from fast paced bars to fine dining steakhouses before transitioning into commercial real estate. He married to the love of his life in 2019 and now has his own blended family. He spends most of his free time during the week cheering his son on in football and entertaining his adorable toddler. On the weekends he enjoys coaching his daughter’s soccer and volleyball teams and playing intricate board games with friends and family.
